The end of the world looks quite a bit different from what I had imagined. With it being streamed live over the internet and all, I thought there would be more helpers out there. Foolish, I suppose. Naive, even. It’s been an intensely fascinating study of human nature since we all entered the “thunderdome.” I haven’t seen a pressure cooker like this one before. Have you? I mean, I knew it would happen eventually. I just didn’t realize the Coronavirus could be our tipping point.

As I see it, this can go two ways: We continue as we are: Selfish … Vitriolic … Fearful … and everything we know burns to the ground. Probably necessary to correct this modern human condition we’ve got going. Bummer. Or — we could settle down — drop our biases and hate, and start looking in the mirror instead of pointing fingers. Are you perfect and in possession of the wisdom of the ages? Or are you led by the nose? The answer is both. Accept that and try to move away from the massive confusion and constant lying to ourselves about where we fit in on that spectrum. FULL STOP on defining others from within the confines of our own mental constructs. We’ve been trying that approach for awhile now, and I just don’t think it’s working.

#SJWstop or learn a better way. We are burning down this world, overdosed on our own egos.
